Dr. Roy Jolley

Dr. Jolley has been in the noble practice of Dentistry for over 25 years.  Dr, Jolley loves all phases of Dentistry. "I love people and feel blessed to be able to help people in pain and people who are distressed over the condition of their smile."  When you ask him about his work, a big grin breaks across his face, and he says, "I truly love the practice of Dentistry...I will never retire!"

Dr. Jolley went to college on a swimming scholarship and received a BS degree from the University of Arkansas at Monticello, with a double major in Biology and Chemistry, graduating in the top 5% of his class.  He then attended dental school at the University of Tennessee.  After graduating from Dental School, Dr. Jolley served two years in the Army and had additional training in Oral Surgery and Endodontics.

Dr. Jolley’s practice is truly unique. With an emphasis on Orthodontics, TMJ, Sleep Apnea and Cosmetics, Dr. Jolley has a broad base of knowledge and how each of these areas compliment one another. He is an Orthodontic instructor, and lectures on Orthodontics and TMJ all over the United States. Dr. Jolley is one of only three dentists in Arkansas with a “Fellowship” from the AACP in TMJ therapy.

Dr. Jolley takes a holistic approach to the practice of Dentistry. He sees the entire face…not just the teeth. He is a master at balancing the face with the oral cavity, creating stunningly beautiful smile. Dr. Jolley’s office motto is: “We create beautiful smiles.”

 

When asked, what makes your practice different, Dr. Jolley states, "We are not a typical dental office...our office is dedicated to excellence, we work unhurried and give attention to detail.  We have cutting edge technology and the most modern equipment.  "I have surrounded myself with a staff that is enthusiastic, well trained and feel an "ownership" to the practice."  "We treat people as individuals, not just a number, and we listen to our patients." "Believe it or not, I love coming to work in the mornings." "Most importantly, we treat people with respect and compassion...and that is what defines our practice.

Dr. Jolley is married to Carolyn Jolley who is an interpreter for the deaf. She is a professor at UALR. Dr. Jolley has one daughter who is a nurse in Dallas, Texas. He has two beautiful grandbabies.

Dr. Jolley's passion is scuba diving, in fact, he proposed to his wife underwater! Further, Dr. Jolley loves to snow ski, water ski, loves camping and hiking...anything outdoors.  Until Dr. Jolley's knee went bad on him, he was an avid runner.

Dr. Jolley enjoys the theater, loves movies, and is an avid reader.  He has additional hobbies such as gardening and writing.  Although still unpublished, he is working on a nonfiction novel about his childhood.
